Description

Our government client seeks the services of an experienced HR Classification Consultant.

Duties

Development of various organizational structures in support of directorate programs.

Conduct of organizational studies, provision of written reports, studies and presentations as requested by the project authority.

As required, provide position evaluation reports and supporting rationales.

Other deliverables, as specified by the project authority.

Qualifications

Participate in organizational design and classification activities that enable the directorate to achieve its business objectives in response to changes in the department's mandate, business strategy or orientation. Conduct studies, and recommend strategies and options that meet senior management objectives.

Consultation with various stakeholders to identify challenges and develop mitigation strategies including the development of action plans to implement chosen options for each study undertaken to implementation the staffing plan.

Strategic advice on the development of organizational strategies in support of the new governance structure in both a centralized and decentralized environment.

Strategic classification & organizational advice to the Leadership in a science based organization.

Consults with the HR Program Manager, Classification & Organization Design and team members on organizational design and classification issues.

Prepares briefings and presentations for stakeholder groups including senior management as required.

Conduct bench-marking and/or relativity studies.

As required, evaluate positions against the appropriate classification standards and write the supporting rationales. This may include: researching internal and external relativities, organizing evaluation committees, and/or conducting desk audits.

MUST HAVE Accredition in classification in PSC Context
