Description

Our government client is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and managers.
  • Coordinate schedule, direct the flow of information coming into and going out of the unit.
  • Confirm travel arrangements and obtain information using the GoC Shared Travel System; and assists managers and staff to identify and choose travel options.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings (scheduling, rescheduling, distribution of agenda and briefing material and other services)
  • Organize mail and calendar
  • Filing documents and handing of documents

Qualifications

The potential candidates must also demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Experience in maintaining paper and/or electronic files
  • Experience in using various types of software such as: Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
  • Experience in various administrative functions for multi-staffed office
  • Must have administrative background
