Our government client is seeking a Bilingual Administrative Assistant with Enhanced Clearance.
Qualifications
Criteria: (Minimum of 2 years experience)
Experience in providing advisory services to senior management;
Experience in managing information flow in a executive’s office;
Experience in the coordination, verification, editing and processing of briefing notes and correspondence of senior management;
Experience in liaising with the office of a DG/CIO as well as senior officials of other governmental departments and external stakeholders;
Experience in preparing reports, summaries, assessments and recommendations;
Experience in the preparation and coordination of meetings and documents.
Must have knowledge of the following: (Must Have)
Knowledge of the practices and protocols to organise high level meetings, conferences and events.
Knowledge of administrative procedures including a Bring Forward System and tracking
Knowledge of principles and practices of database development and management to track the progress of documentation;
Knowledge of an email system such as Lotus Notes or Outlook
Knowledge of MS Word, Word Perfect, Excel, and MECS
Abilities: (Must Have)
Ability to provide advice and work with a Executive Director, and liaise with a DG's office and management and staff;
Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate work and liaise to ensure smooth operation of the office;
Ability to work under pressure and in a high volume office
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
Ability to multi-task various items at one time
Ability to respond to stressful situations and tight deadlines.
